First released in 2010, the Nike Air Foamposite One Eggplant features a black mesh and nubuck upper with a varsity purple Foamposite shell with a unique iridescent finish. This July 2017 re-release during the 20th anniversary of the original Foamposite design also includes a black carbon fiber plate, an ice-white translucent rubber outsole, and Penny Hardaways '1Cent' logo on the heel.
