This Air Jordan 12 Retro 'Doernbecher' was the only Air Jordan model featured in Nikes 2017 Doernbecher Collection, which gives proceeds to the Doernbecher Childrens Hospital. Designed by Carissa Navarro, a 9-year-old girl born without kidneys, the sneaker is peppered with her favorite things in life. The black, Hyper Violet and Pink Blast outsole features pictures of her stuffed dog Max, a baseball and a basketball. Her twin sisters name, Savannah, appears on the left heel, while hers appears on the right. The lace deubré features a slice of pizza.
